Southern Illinois Kayak Club patriated in the second annual Crossroads Kayak Bass Team Classic this past weekend on Sangchris Lake. This was an amazing tournament hosted by Kayak Bass League, and directed by the wonderful Susie Roloff. SIKC as a team finished 6th out of 10 teams with a grand total of 657.50″ of Bass caught. Glenn Banaszak – 165.50″ 2nd out of 50Lucas Brozovich – 152.50″ 13th out of 50Joshua Lincoln – 144.00″ 29 out of 50Rece Schneider – 137.75″ 32 out of 50Joe Burchett – 57.75″ 47 out of 50 A huge congratulations goes out to Glenn Banazak for finishing 2nd place overall. This is an incredible feat as he beat 48 of the best kayak fisherman in the Mid-west. We constantly worked together as a team to figure out what the fish were wanting. The team fished their hearts out from the start of the tournament all the way to the last second. Our team showed that the guys and gals from SIKC can throw down with the best kayak anglers in the Midwest. We could not be more proud of our entire team, and we can not wait to attend the Crossroads Kayak Bass Team Classic next year in Indiana. A huge thank you to all our partners this season
